You must be employed for 90 continuous days prior to the new quarter to be eligible. You may enroll and make changes during the quarterly enrollment windows in March, June, September, and December, from the 10th – 25th. If you would like to stop your current election, email the Benefits Department with your signed ESPP Cancellation Form.

Once you elect benefits during your initial enrollment, you can only make changes during each Open Enrollment period or if you experience a qualifying life event. Life event changes must be completed within 30 days of the event.

The following are examples of qualifying life events as defined by the IRS: change in employee’s legal marital status, birth or adoption, change in employment status (loss or gain of outside coverage) or death. You can process the change online at My Lithia Benefits.

During your initial enrollment window, you have 30 days from your date of hire to elect benefits. Benefits will be effective on the first day of the month following your hire date.

Note: The Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) must be re-elected each year due to IRS guidelines. To continue participating in these benefits, you must re-elect them during each Open Enrollment.

Each November, all team members can make changes to their benefit elections. These changes will take effect in January of the following year and will remain in place for that entire calendar year.

Although we recommend reviewing your benefits to ensure you have the coverage that’s right for you and your family, most benefits will automatically roll over into the next year, unless otherwise noted.

Please log onto My Lithia Benefits to select your elections and submit changes. You can also call the Benefits Service Center at 833-550-5606 to make changes over the phone.

You may enroll your spouse, domestic partner, children, and domestic partner’s children. You will need to approve all dependents with the self-attestation by clicking I agree, after adding the dependent’s information on the benefits website.

The federal government considers the contributions made by Lithia & Driveway towards the coverage of your domestic partner and/or domestic partner children's coverage as additional income. This is called Imputed Income, and it is added to your gross pay each paycheck for tax purposes.

During your initial new hire enrollment, you can elect any tier of coverage. If you want to change your tier after your new hire enrollment, you can elect to increase only one tier from your current coverage during each annual Open Enrollment.

Yes, a pre-existing condition provision applies to new elections if you received medical treatment, consultation, care, or services, including diagnostic measures, or took prescription medication in the months prior to your effective date (three months prior for long-term disability); and the disability begins in the 12 months after your coverage effective date.

Yes, to qualify for the $250 Wellness Bonus you must have active Lithia & Driveway medical coverage at the time of your visit. Your spouse/domestic partner is also eligible to receive $250 if they are also enrolled. Bring the Wellness Bonus Form to your appointment and make sure your provider signs or stamps the form.
