Life Events
Most of your Lithia & Driveway benefits stay the same throughout the year, unless something changes in your life that allows you to adjust your elections.
Good to Know
You can enroll in benefits as a new hire and change your benefits each year during Open Enrollment. Outside of these times, you can only change certain benefits coverage during the year if you have a qualifying life event.
You have 30 days from the event date to change your benefits.
What Qualifies?
Qualifying life events include:
- Birth/adoption
- Marriage/domestic partnership
- Divorce/end of domestic partnership
- Change in employment status
- Lost/gain of outside coverage
- Enroll/cancel pet wellness coverage
To view the full list, go to My Lithia Benefits and click Change Your Current Benefits.
Initiate a Life Event
To initiate a life event:
- Go to My Lithia Benefits
- Click ChangeYour Current Benefits (on the homepage)
- Follow the prompts to make changes to your benefits—you may be required to submit supporting documentation
- Or, call the Benefits Service Center at 833-550-5606

Beneficiaries
Make sure your assets and benefit payouts go to the right people by updating your beneficiary info.
